And Don Giovanni did...  dragged through the revolving doors of the Municipal bank he staggered into the hell of Birmingham Broad Street.

In 2006 Birmingham Opera Company filled one of the city's most important civic buildings, the Municipal Bank, with new life. Located on Broad Street, a popular location for a wild night out, it had been disused for years. It's great to hear that this year, building work is scheduled by the University of Birmingham, to adapt the building to accommodate a year-round programme of events and exhibitions, a new incubator for student and graduate start-up businesses, and a range of collaborative working spaces.

"He Had it Coming is a breathtaking piece of music theatre in which every detail derives from the director and company's wholehearted engagement with Mozart's masterpiece. Everyone involved in this production can count it a triumph." - Richard Bratby, Birmingham Post
