Trusts and Foundations

We are extremely grateful to the Arts Council England, Birmingham City Council, the Esmée Fairbairn Foundation and to the many Trusts, Foundations and individuals who have generously supported our work to develop over the last decade.

We are very keen to hear from potential corporate sponsors who want too invest in the City.

Benedict Cadbury, Trustee of the George Cadbury Fund, said:

"Increasingly businesses are rated on their ESG performance. Whereas the
environmental aspect lends itself to measurement and targets, the social
element is less easily definable. Sponsorship of local arts
organisations is a demonstrable aspect of a business investing in the
community where it is based.

The B O C  is unique in producing operas where the majority of the cast
consists of local people. Supporting this venture is a direct investment
in the Birmingham community, which is why the George Cadbury Fund is
enthusiastically continuing its sponsorship in 2024.'

If you represent a trust, foundation or corporate and would like to find out more about how you could support Birmingham Opera Company in this way, please contact Richard Willacy on 0121 246 6644 or slh@birminghamopera.org.uk.
