We're thrilled to announce that our RhineGold was nominated in the Opera category of The South Bank Sky Arts Awards 2022.

Birmingham Opera Company's five-star internationally acclaimed production RhineGold directed by Richard Willacy in tribute to Graham Vick was performed in Symphony Hall, as we exited lockdown, with volunteers and the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra conducted by our Music Director, Alpesh Chauhan. 

Birmingham Opera Company was awarded The South Bank Show Award for our 2002 production of Beethoven's only opera Fidelio.

RhineGold is currently aired occasionally on Sky Arts   in UK/Eire and on NowTV (subscription).
