Once again, Birmingham Opera Company enables opera to ring out in new spaces! This time, Wagner in a car park in Berlin. The Ring Saga is an abridged version of Wagner's Ring Cycle by Jonathan Dove and Graham Vick, in a new orchestration by Jonathan Dove. It was commissioned by Birmingham Opera Company and acclaimed by the press as "a miracle" back in the 90s. Das Rheingold, episode one of the Ring Saga, is appearing soon in the Deutsche Oper Berlin's car park. It opens on 12th June in a semi-staged version conducted by Donald Runnicles.
