Written for the 21st century about the powers that govern our lives, where would you find the Apple shop, the European Central bank and The Vatican? Well, in Mozart's The Magic Flute, of course!

Graham Vick's epic staging in 2018 for Macerata Opera Festival - co-produced by the Associazione Arena Sferisterio and the Palais de Les Arts Reina Sofia, in association with Birmingham Opera Company - saw nearly a hundred local people and refugees from the city of Macerata perform together with professional artists on the vast open-air stage of the Arena Sferisterio.

You can watch the production online for free until 8th July 2021, 11:00 UK time | 12:00 CET.

Sung in Italian. Subtitles are available in English and Italian.  Have a look below!
