City of Birmingham Touring Opera commissioned several new orchestrations of operas suitable for smaller touring productions. Jonathan Dove started the process with his version of La boheme for 15 players and continued with the hugely ambitious adaptation of The Ring Saga in collaboration with Graham Vick for 18 players. These versions are available for hire including performing rights but do not always include the performing rights for the English translations. Translators details can be provided. If you would like further details about the operas for hire please contact library@birminghamopera.org.uk
